Flat Roof Systems We Install

TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is our go-to for most flat roof applications. The seams are heat-welded, creating a watertight bond stronger than the membrane itself. It's energy-efficient, reflective, and has a proven track record in Georgia's climate. Most commercial buildings along GA-400 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard use some form of TPO.

Modified bitumen is a time-tested multi-layer system that's been protecting flat roofs for decades. Torch-applied or peel-and-stick, it provides excellent waterproofing and handles foot traffic well — important for roofs with HVAC equipment that service techs need to access.

Roof coatings can extend the life of an existing flat roof by 10-15 years when the membrane is still in decent shape but the surface is aging. Silicone and acrylic coatings create a new waterproof layer over the existing roof, and they're a fraction of the cost of a full replacement.

Ponding water is the biggest issue. If water sits on your flat roof for more than 48 hours after rain, that's ponding — and it's slowly destroying the membrane. We address drainage issues through tapered insulation, additional drains, or scupper installation.
