Marietta, GA Gutter Repair
Gutters wear out eventually, but that doesn't mean every issue calls for ripping them all down and starting over. Targeted repairs can add years to a system that's still mostly working.
What Usually Needs Fixing
Sagging sections. Gutters drooping in the middle or pulling off the fascia board. Usually it's the hangers — they've failed, corroded, or can't support the weight anymore. Sometimes the fascia behind them has gone soft from water exposure. We swap hangers, add reinforcement, and deal with any damaged wood.
Leaking joints. If you've got sectional gutters, each connection point is a future leak. Those seams open up over time. We can reseal them, but if leaks are showing up in several spots, upgrading to seamless gutters is probably the better long-term investment.
Downspout problems. Disconnected joints, packed-solid clogs, crushed or dented sections. We get the flow moving again.
End cap issues. The caps on each run's ends can pop loose or corrode over time. Generally a simple repair.
Damage from impacts. Ladder dents, fallen limbs, storm debris. We can replace individual sections without touching the rest of the system.
Repair or Replace?
Issues in one area, rest of the system solid? Repair makes sense.
Problems everywhere, multiple leaks, a system that's just old and worn thin? Replacement is the smarter call.
We'll tell you straight which situation you're in. We have no interest in selling new gutters to someone who just needs a fix.
A Note on Prevention
Most gutter damage comes down to neglected maintenance. Years of leaves and debris piling up, water backing up and overflowing, the weight pulling hangers off the house. Regular cleanouts — or gutter guards — prevent the majority of these problems. Learn more about our Marietta roofing and gutter services.
