GAF Master Elite Contractor Evaluation Process | Dom Roofing & Restoration | Sugar Hill, GA
DOM Roofing & Restoration is an independent business, not an employee or agent of GAF. GAF does not control or supervise our business operations. Participating contractors may receive program benefits, and enhanced warranties require qualifying products and installation. Review the written proposal, applicable GAF warranty, and contractor terms before purchase.
What Makes a GAF Master Elite Contractor Special?
The process to obtain elite master certification follows a challenging path which is limited to select candidates. Since 1886 GAF has maintained its position as the largest roofing manufacturer in North America through a detailed evaluation process which exceeds standard licensing standards. The prestigious status requires contractors to show excellent business stability while maintaining full insurance coverage and excellent customer feedback and ongoing education about modern roofing systems and installation methods. The GAF certification system exists to identify top industry performers who demonstrate exceptional standards because it grants these distinctions only to qualified professionals. GAF certification programs are designed to recognize contractors who meet high standards and offer benefits such as enhanced warranties and loyalty rewards.
GAF Master Elite contractors can offer the Golden Pledge Limited Warranty on qualifying roofing systems. Coverage, non-prorated periods, workmanship terms, exclusions, and remedies depend on the applicable warranty and installed products. Ask for the exact warranty document and written confirmation of eligibility before installation.

Dom Roofing’s Six-Year Journey to Excellence
Our achievement as a gaf master elite contractor didn’t happen overnight. For six years, Dom Roofing & Restoration has worked tirelessly to build the reputation, expertise, and business foundation necessary to earn this recognition. Throughout our service areas, we’ve consistently delivered exceptional results while maintaining the high standards that GAF demands from its certified contractors.
This journey involved continuous investment in ongoing training, staying current with industry best practices, and building lasting relationships with homeowners who trust us with their most important investment—their homes. Our team has mastered the installation of high quality roofing materials, including the popular roof shingle timberline hdz and other premium gaf shingles that provide superior protection and aesthetic appeal. Unlike less qualified roofers, such as informal crews or unaccredited individuals, our certified roofers bring a level of professionalism and expertise that ensures your roofing project is completed to the highest standards.
The dedication required to reach master elite status reflects our broader commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business. From initial consultation through project completion, we’ve maintained the standards that have now been officially recognized by the largest roofing manufacturer in North America.
Exclusive Benefits for Our Customers
As a gaf master elite contractor, Dom Roofing & Restoration can now offer gaf enhanced warranties that provide unparalleled protection for your roofing investment. Offering GAF enhanced warranties is a key benefit exclusive to certified professionals, distinguishing Dom Roofing & Restoration from non-certified providers. GAF contractors, especially those with Master Elite status, are recognized for their high standards and ability to offer exclusive warranty options. Participation in the program and offering GAF products and warranties enables contractors to provide these exclusive benefits to their customers. The Golden Pledge warranty represents the pinnacle of roofing protection, combining comprehensive material coverage with extensive workmanship guarantees that give homeowners complete peace of mind.
Enhanced Warranty Protection
Exclusive GAF Warranty Benefits from Dom Roofing & Restoration
Our customers now have access to warranty options that extend far beyond standard industry offerings, with coverage contingent upon the contractor and any services being performed according to GAF standards:
- Golden Pledge Limited Warranty: Available through GAF Master Elite contractors for eligible roofing systems, subject to its written terms.
- System Plus Limited Warranty: Comprehensive protection for qualifying roofing systems
- Project documentation: Confirm product eligibility, installation requirements, warranty registration, and any inspection included in your written agreement.
- Transfer terms: Check the applicable warranty’s transfer deadline, eligibility, and procedure if the home is sold.
GAF Warranty Claims
As a leading GAF Master Elite Certified contractor, Dom Roofing & Restoration in Sugar Hill, Suwanee, Buford, Alpharetta, Duluth, and surrounding areas has experienced the exceptional reliability of GAF’s warranty claims process firsthand. GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, demonstrates an unwavering commitment to honoring claims efficiently, ensuring homeowners receive the protection they deserve without hassle.
Proven Track Record in Handling GAF Warranty Claims
As a GAF Master Elite contractor, DOM can discuss enhanced warranty options for qualifying GAF roofing systems. A previous claim outcome does not establish how a future claim will be resolved; retain your contract, product details, and warranty documents.
If a suspected defect or installation issue arises, follow the notice and claim procedures in your warranty. GAF evaluates claims under the applicable terms; approval, timing, and the remedy are not guaranteed in advance.
Key Advantages of GAF Warranties: Covering Even Contractor Errors
Some enhanced GAF warranties include workmanship coverage for qualifying misapplication of covered products. That coverage is subject to the warranty’s scope, exclusions, notice requirements, and specified remedy; it does not promise a free replacement for every construction issue.
This homeowner-friendly approach sets GAF apart in the roofing industry:
- Manufacturing defects: Covered defects are handled according to the applicable warranty’s stated remedy.
- Workmanship coverage: Available enhanced warranties may cover specified installation issues, subject to eligibility and exclusions.
- Claim costs: Review which costs are covered and which remain the homeowner’s responsibility.
- Compare the documents: Review coverage periods, exclusions, transfer provisions, and remedies for the specific roofing system.
By partnering with Dom Roofing & Restoration, a trusted GAF Master Elite Certified contractor, you’re not just getting expert installation—you’re gaining access to warranties backed by a manufacturer renowned for honoring claims promptly and fairly. Contact us today for a free roof inspection and learn how GAF’s superior warranty protection can benefit your home in Sugar Hill, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Buford, Johns Creek, Atlanta or beyond.
Quality Assurance You Can Trust
GAF certification establishes program eligibility; it is not a guarantee of every business practice or project outcome. Confirm the contractor’s current status, relevant credentials, insurance, references, and the written scope and warranty for your project.
Understanding GAF Certification Levels
The GAF certification program features a three-tier structure, with each level representing increasing standards of excellence and expanded benefits for homeowners.
| Certification Level | Contractor Percentage | Available Warranties | Key Requirements |
| GAF Certified™ | 7% of contractors | System Plus Limited Warranty | Basic licensing, insurance, BBB rating |
| GAF Certified Plus™ | Invitation only | Silver Pledge, System Plus | Enhanced track record, stricter standards |
| GAF Master Elite® | Less than 2% | Golden Pledge, all warranties | Elite business standards, ongoing training |
Contractors enrolled in these gaf certifications programs are not employees of GAF; rather, they operate independently and are not controlled by GAF.
As gaf master elite contractors, we represent the absolute pinnacle of this certification hierarchy. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in every aspect of our roofing services, from initial consultation through long-term customer support.
The President’s Club Recognition
Within the master elite tier exists an even more exclusive recognition—the president’s club. This annual distinction recognizes contractors who demonstrate exceptional performance, reliability, and service excellence. Contractors may receive benefits from GAF for participating in the president’s club program, such as loyalty rewards points and discounts on marketing tools. President’s club members receive benefits such as loyalty rewards points and discounts on marketing tools from gaf, while customers benefit from working with the most proven professionals in the entire GAF network.

The GAF Advantage in Action
Our GAF Master Elite status allows us to discuss eligible enhanced warranties. Your project’s written scope, installation details, inspections, and warranty registration establish what is included.
Project Quality Assurance
Our certification requires adherence to specific installation procedures and quality standards that ensure optimal performance of your roofing system. This includes proper use of a minimum amount of gaf products to qualify for enhanced warranties which require strict compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Long-term Value Protection
If you plan to sell your home, review whether and how the warranty may be transferred. Any effect on resale value depends on the property and transaction.
Making the Right Choice for Your Home
Selecting the right roofing contractor represents one of the most important decisions homeowners make. Your roof protects your family and your investment, making it essential to work with professionals who demonstrate proven expertise and reliability.
Our GAF Master Elite certification is one credential homeowners can verify when considering DOM. Review the proposal, references, insurance, installation plan, and written warranty to assess the specific project.
Red Flags to Avoid
When evaluating roofing contractors, certain warning signs should prompt careful consideration:
- Contractors who cannot document insurance or any license required for the proposed scope
- Unusually low estimates that seem too good to be true
- High-pressure sales tactics or demands for full payment upfront
- Inability to provide local references or proof of certification
- Vague timelines or reluctant to provide written estimates
GAF certification can help you evaluate a contractor, but it does not replace checking the written contract, insurance, references, and project-specific requirements.
